The Women’s Network Steering Committee needed to support it’s members during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and found members wanted visibility to upper management, resources around working virtually, parent support and stress management.

Problem:  Covid-19 created workplace challenges and disparities that disproportionately affected women. We knew the women we worked with were struggling and needed to do something to support and retain them, and also support our company, as it can take up to two years for a new employee to become fully productive and cost an estimated $50-200k to replace an employee.

Solution: The Women's Network developed a survey for our membership base to learn how best to support them during the Covid-19 Pandemic and let their voices be heard in leadership circles. We panned through questions and over 400+ free form, raw responses of the struggles women were facing in the workplace. We disseminated the data into powerpoints, infographics, lightning talks, and shared with whoever would listen, especially leadership.
